Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BookOnTheMap, a product of ZIZWE IT LIMITED("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

BookOnTheMap gives a business a bookable page and dashboard so its customers can book appointments online. We provide the software; the business is responsible for honouring the bookings it receives and for the accuracy of its services, prices, and hours.

Plans, trial and billing

New businesses get a 30-day free trial with no card required. After that, continued use requires a subscription: Basic £9.99/month (booking page and dashboard) or Pro £19.99/month (adds a photo gallery and SMS appointment reminders). Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Plan changes are prorated. We do not take any commission on your bookings.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time from your dashboard's billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. If you don't subscribe after the trial, your booking page is paused but your data is retained so you can reactivate.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account at any time from your dashboard (Settings → Delete account). This cancels any active subscription and erases your booking page, bookings, customers, photos, and settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service for unlawful purposes, to send spam, to misrepresent a business, or to interfere with the service's security or operation. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Customer data

When you collect your customers' details through BookOnTheMap, you are responsible for handling that data lawfully (including under UK GDPR) and for any notices or consents your customers require. We process that data only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

SMS reminders

On the Pro plan we send SMS reminders to customers on your behalf. Customers choose at the time of booking whether to receive a reminder and can opt out. You remain responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to text your customers. Message delivery depends on third-party networks and isn't guaranteed.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the previous three months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
